Schwalbe RightRun Wheelchair Tires 24" (pair)

Used Primo's for 20 years, decided to try these out and am so glad I did! Set has lasted over 9 months with no threads or major wear showing. Was changing the others out every 5-6 months.

These are marvelous tires i am usually hard user working in metal workshop, so the Primo was hardly lasting one year, these was lasting 2 years and more and still working. PLEASE SEARCH FOR THE 2012 STND VERSION NOT THE LITE VERSION. as the lite version didn't last at all with me.

Advantages: Order the slandered version 370 grams not the 315 grams, its thicker and more durable.

Disadvantages: Do not order the lite version 315 grams.

I have had my chair with these tires on them for only about 6 or 7 weeks and they have not shown ANY kind of wear and tear on them and they roll fantastic. I can go faster in my Terminator with Schwalbe tires on them than I can in my Quickie XTR with Primo tires on it and I give them a BIG thumbs up for the Quality and the price range because I have been in a chair for 18 years and so far, they are the highest quality tire I have ever owned or rode on one of my chairs!!!

Advantages: These tires roll really smoothly and have non marking black rubber that comes in handy on my hardwood floors and linoleum so if you want to go faster and farther with each push of the rim these tires do not falter! Plus, they do not tear up the carpet in my hallway and bedroom nearly as bad.

Disadvantages: I have found no disadvantage so far!!!

After 12 years in a chair, these are the most durable tires I've found. I'm on my 3rd pair of these and I have yet to have a flat or puncture. Unlike other tires I've used, the rubber on these remains soft and "rubbery" and doesn't harden. The only reason I replaced the previous tires because I haven't been brave enough run them to the point of failure to find out how long they'll really last. I have the old tires in my closet as spares if I do have a tire failure.

Disadvantages: The only disadvantage would be that they are slightly bigger than other 25-540 tires. That shouldn't be an issue on an everyday chair. I bought my first pair of these to try on my rugby chair, which I use another popular brand 25-540 tire. The slight size difference meant they wouldn't fit without rubbing the front bumper.

Love these tires! I was a Marathon Plus fan for years, but they are more expensive and have tread. Lately, quality has been hit or miss on the Marathons. One of mine disintegrated while the other was in perfect condition. RightRun is an economical alternative. I'm loving them so far. Highly recommended, especially for summer.

Advantages: Lower cost than Marathon Plus. Slicks. High pressure. Non-maring.

Disadvantages: Not available in pure black.

Normally run marathon plus but I decided to try theses Rightrun and they seem to work great. Not as much traction on slick surfaces as the marathon plus though.

Advantages: Price.

Disadvantages: Traction.

Tires arrived in a timely manner and were delivered as expected. These tires add a little color to your ride. Recommend paying a little extra for the flat shipping to avoid deforming the tires.

Advantages: Tires were true and didn't need reshaping because they were shipped flat (unfolded).

Disadvantages: The 1" width is a tight fit, but a bead jack makes it a little easier to avoid pinching an inner tube.

Extremely pleased with the tire purchase and the experience in purchasing them. Very uncomplicated and quick.

Advantages: This is the first pair of non black or grey ever purchased. I like the aesthetic appeal of the red tires and the grip of the tread is very good. Also the price was less expensive as the non colored tires.

Disadvantages: None so far.

Easy to order, arrived in great condition and delivered in a timely fashion. Exactly what my son was looking for. The wheels look good and match his Ti-Lite Chair. Non Marking is a plus.

Great tire, have been using them for years!

Advantages: Long lasting (1 year) and one of the easiest tires to remove and replace when I get a tube puncture. Others tires are much stiffer and very difficult to change.

Disadvantages: None.

I buy these tires because they are low cost. And last awhile.

Schwalbe tires provide the best rolling experience I have found. As long as you keep them at the 145 psi it really makes a difference.

Advantages: Better rolling .

Disadvantages: Have to keep the psi up.

Great tires! This is my second set. The first set lasted 3 years.

I've been using these tires for many years and I've always had great services from them and from Sportaid.

Advantages: They are sometimes difficult to put on the rims, but once on I know they will last a tread will wear evenly.

These work great and look great as well.

Advantages: Max pressure of 140 makes for smooth and easy ride. also works well with less pressure, 110.

Disadvantages: Putting 140 pounds of pressure with hand pump is a bit of a workout.

Great looking high pressure tires. Very easy to mount. Seem to have low rolling resistance.

Advantages: Multiple color options to match wheelchair colors. Easy to mount. Roll easily. Affordable.

Disadvantages: None so far.

The service, the ease of ordering and quick delivery are what impressed me. The tires are perfect for my ZR Ti-Lite wheelchair which I can travel anywhere.

Advantages: Price, grip and quality.

MAKE SURE YOU ARE GETTING THE CORRECT NUMBER. It's better to use the number (eg. 23-559) than the inches. I ordered 25" and they were the wrong number so I had to return.

Advantages: Fine tread, a bit more grippy than Kenda so nice for a day chair but I'd avoid for sport.

Awesome tires! The color is cool and the tire works great!

Advantages: Smooth ride, cool colors, wear tread in the center.

Disadvantages: Not an off road tire.
