I'm glad that I finally changed chairs and bought this one. I customized mine with the 5" soft roll front wheels, aluminum side guards, satin with with the hot pepper package. Looks great. Added ADI rides brakes to it.
Advantages: Adjustable! lightweight, rigid, rolls great. isn't falling apart like my last chair. =)
Disadvantages: I haven't found anything yet.

Great chair - smooth and light.
Advantages: Light weight - allows to load into a car much easier and saves shoulders and wrists over a similar aluminum model - which I also have.
Disadvantages: Need scratch protection on bottom of footrest. When you stand it on end to get into a car it gets really scratched. A model I had from 6 years ago has that on it.

Great wheelchair at a great price!
Advantages: We bought from Sportaid and saved almost $2000 over a local wheelchair supplier. We had to purchase a lighter chair for my daughter because the one provided by insurance was to heavy for my wife after her hip replacement. My daughter loves it it is super fast and can get into much tighter places than her previous one which we dubbed the titanic.
Disadvantages: You need to know dimensions before ordering, which can be a little daunting if you have never done it before.

This is an excellent wheelchair, my second of this model (because I changed size, not because the old one wore out). My previous experience with choosing a chair had been to find out through experience what didn‘t work well about my chair, then choose a model that didn‘t have those disadvantages. With the TRA, I was so pleased with the durability, adjustability, and handling of the chair that I was happy to be able to choose the same model again.
Advantages: The biggest advantage is how highly adjustable this chair is without adding significantly to the weight and without sacrificing performance. With a custom-built chair like this, it‘s important to have a good understanding of your needs and abilities and the trade-offs you need to make with any chair (the performance and comfort advantages of wheel camber vs. the increase in width of the chair, for example, or the smoother ride and decreased likelihood of getting caught in cracks that larger casters offer, vs. the increased amount of room you need to turn with them). But once you know those things, the chair is adjustable enough to work with your changing needs as a user.
This chair also has a very wide range of options for customization—among the widest in my experience.
Though it‘s the same model as my previous TRA, I see that TiLite continues to improve it. Some adjustments that had been a little fiddly to make before have been updated with improved mechanisms. They weren‘t bad before, but the new mechanisms for adjusting backrest angle and caster fork angle are an improvement on the old ones.
Disadvantages: This is not an inexpensive wheelchair, so I wouldn‘t recommend it as a first chair when your needs are still changing very significantly or when you aren‘t sure already exactly what you want. The dual-tube frame can make it a bit harder to reach an under-seat bag from the side, but the advantages this frame style has in lightness and strength / rigidity are significant, and it‘s really no harder to load into a car than a monotube frame.

The flowing lines of dual-tube geometry stiffens the wheelchair, transferring more of your push stroke directly to the ground.
No wasted energy means fewer strokes throughout the day.
Sweeping curve of the lower frame tube creates a unique look as the lower frame blends in and fades away.
The Tru-Fit System opens up the world of adjustability by incorporating an infinite adjustment mechanism. The Tru-Fit system allows you to fine tune the fit of your chair because you are not limited to a series of pre-set holes. Also, instead of bolting through frame-weakening holes, components clamp directly onto the frame. This eliminates one of the main stress points on today's wheelchairs by reducing the number of holes in the frame.
Adjustable Camber Mount incorporates TiLite's Tru-Fit system with up to 3.5" of rear seat height adjustment.
The TRA’s SpeedLoader Adjustable Front Caster Housing quickly and accurately adjusts fork angle in 1° increments.
Zero Play Camber Plugs give a much tighter feel to the chair like sport suspension in a car. CNC machined from billet aluminum to the highest tolerances, they remove any side to side movement from the rear wheels.
TiShaft Back Release Bar makes folding and unfolding the backrest easy from any angle.

**Weight based on 16″ x 16″ wheelchair with all standard features except rear wheels. Rear wheels are not included due to the varying weights of the numerous wheel configurations offered by TiLite. For reference, a pair of standard 24″ (540) rear wheels weighs 7.2 lb.
I have been using a wheelchair since 1979, during that time I have owned a number of wheelchairs, manual, power as well as handbikes. My current Quickie 2 was almost 20 years old, I am very active, this chair held up very well..but it was time for a new chair. After looking around I decided on another Quickie 2, it's lightweight, foldable and compact, making it easy for me to load up in my car on my own. Sportaid (Gwen) made sure every detail was taken care of and that I was 100% happy with my purchase. I would not hesitate to work with them again.
