SHOX Solid Wheelchair Tires 24", 25" x 1" (25-540, 559,590) 5 Colors 110psi Equivalent pair

Was rolling on 1 3/8" pneuma tires. Tried Shox. VERY hard to install. Rolled 2 weeks like rolling in mud. NOT equivalent to 110 psi. Switched to Kenda Court 1" tires that are 110 psi pneumatic. SWEET!

Ordered replacement tires for my daughter's wheelchair and these were perfect! She is a huge Batman fan and the yellow tire was exactly what she wanted. The smile on her face was priceless. I took the chair to a bike repair shop to install them, and they loved the quality of the tire itself.

Advantages: Solid tire so no worry of going flat. Great color options.

Disadvantages: Not everyone has specialized tools to install DIY, but a bike shop is in nearly every town.

My order was my third pair of Shox tires. So far, I'm very happy with all three of my sets - Shox are much lighter weight (to me) than regular tires with solid inserts, and they're supposedly less likely to break down over time vs. regular tires, which is important for the backup set of wheels.

No maintenance but good ride (which these are) is important for me - I am sometimes in filthy areas with a lot of broken glass, pointy stones and other hazards - and the last thing I want to do in those types of environments is have to sit down with a repair kit and fix things. Putting Shox on solves that worry!

Advantages: No flats! Neat colors, too - I've already referred a few people to Sportaid! :)

Disadvantages: Hard to put on - I took mine to an auto tire shop, where they were able to put them on quickly and easily.

Great tire, more stable, rolls freely, easy on bumps. Tire lasts a long time.

Excellent product, practical and convenient.
Very nice price.
I used this product for a long time.
I do not change it for any other.

Advantages: Durable and cheap.
No maintenance required.


Disadvantages: On smooth and wet floor does not work well
