This customer purchased the item at our site.
I had a tire blow out that destroyed the original thumb piece. I was able to buy a replacement piece through Sportaid.

Advantages: Following the detailed instructions that came with the guard, I installed it easily. It seems to be a better fit than the original one.

Disadvantages: None

I have been using a wheelchair since 1979, during that time I have owned a number of wheelchairs, manual, power as well as handbikes. My current Quickie 2 was almost 20 years old, I am very active, this chair held up very well..but it was time for a new chair. After looking around I decided on another Quickie 2, it's lightweight, foldable and compact, making it easy for me to load up in my car on my own. Sportaid (Gwen) made sure every detail was taken care of and that I was 100% happy with my purchase. I would not hesitate to work with them again.
