I have been trying the cushion for the past week or so and thought I'd drop you an email with my feedback.
This cushion definitely feels better than the one I had as the older one had gone bad, I don't remember if it felt as comfortable as I am using now when I first got it though.
There isn't much of a difference but one thing that I really like about this one is that the gel is almost always evenly distributed to cover the entire seat, in my older cushion I had to always unzip the cushion and place some pressure on the gel filled inner part to distribute the gel and make it more comfortable, so far I have not needed to do some with this one.

I have been sitting on Jay Active cushions for years without a problem but I was having an issue with the gel pad on my new Jay X2 cushion. Stacy with Sportaid worked with Jay to get the problem solved. Thanks Stacy!!!!

Advantages: Lightweight, easy to clean, comfortable, and good customer service. Plus the sportaid really takes care of their customers.

Excellent cushion. I would rate this cushion as highly protective as it comes. I had used an Extreme for a very long time and really liked it. The foam on this cushion is noticeably thicker than the Extreme - combine that with the dished well that does a better job at controlling the gel and it is more protective.
It will make you sit higher. I ordered an under filled gel pack after the fact to address this, which I recommend unless you are a high-risk user...

This cushion was exactly what I was looking for to replace my old one. It's firm but cushioning. Sportaid customer service was great when I had to call with some questions on my order.
