Coronavirus Updates

 

 

Updates on how the Cornoavirus is affecting products and services provided by Sportaid.

 

 

Because Sportaid's mission is dedicated to help maintain the best possible health and mobility of our customers we have been working hard to come up with many ways to make sure we can provide you with the products you need safely and quickly!

 

We are committed to keeping you as informed as possible about the situation in a timely way.

 

Here is the current situation:

 

 

Product Availability

Some manufacturers are experiencing delays in manufacturing due to material shortages.  Roho, Cascade, Jay and Invacare cushions are taking longer to ship and your patience is appreciated.

Some tires and tubes are becoming harder to provide.  Containers from international locations where these products are manufactured are delayed in being processed through customs. 

 

Latex and vinyl gloves are currently not available.

We have not been given a date of when we can expect to have a supply of these.  They are still being provided to first responders and healthcare providers.

 

 Live Customer Service

Sportaid's physical office remains open Monday thru Friday, 9 to 5pm eastern standard time.  Our customer service wait times remain extremely short and we are fully staffed and ready to take care of all of your needs!

 

Delivery

For COVID-19 safety Sportaid is taking every possible action to ensure the health and safety of our customers and our delivery teams.  Expedited services are not guaranteed.  If you request expedited delivery and pay for that service, and the delivery is not within the expected time, refunds are not given.  You will be contacted before proceeding with your order if you are requesting expedited service.

 

As always, our highest priority is the health and safety of our employees, customers, and suppliers while meeting our delivery commitments. Here’s what you can expect from us:

 

   - Monitoring of your order to address potential delays and to keep you informed.

   - Compliance with applicable government regulations related to the containment of Coronavirus.

   - Guidance and information being provided to our staff for the best ways to prevent the spread of infection.

   - Follow the guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO). Please also see the FAQ below.

   - Ability to track your deliveries on UPS.com.

UPS Service Guarantees Suspended

 

Effective March 26, 2020 and until further notice, UPS has suspended the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments to any destination, at all service levels.  As the effects of the Coronavirus impact the UPS infrastructure, they will continue to seek guidance from local and national government entities regarding applicable regulations.  Please continue to visit ups.com's Coronavirus web page for the most up-to-date information regarding the impact of Coronavirus on UPS Small Package services.
