1/2" Sealed Wheelchair Fork Stem and Rear Wheel Bearings

My concern is that when these bearings are mounted laterally (sideways), as with caster-stems, gravity draws the lube down, away from the bearing's race. This can be noticed as dust begins to accumulate on the oily film that emanates below those sideways-mounted bearings.
